Markku Toiviainen

Markku is a technology business and sales leader and business developer with a 30-year international career. He has built and led sales organizations and sales channels in EMEA, APAC, North America, and Latin America regions, and has led GoToMarket programs globally.

Markku has extensive experience with European, British, and American organizational and business cultures, both as an employee and as a leader, in small growth company and large matrixed corporations. He has experience in several M&A/due diligence/integration processes from both the buyer’s and the acquired business’s perspective.

Markku has a deep understanding of the leadership and development challenges of international business in a B2B customer environment and a passion for utilizing business technologies and data analytics in sales and business management decision-making. His special expertise is in global wireless operator business, where he has held product, business, and sales responsibilities across all five technology generations (1G-5G).

Markku is both a Finnish/EU and US citizen, which allows him to work flexibly across a wide geographical area.
