Zach Shelby Joins HTGP Board to Strengthen AI and Technology Leadership

HTGP is strengthening its strategic AI and technology expertise as internationally renowned technology entrepreneur Zach Shelby joins the company’s board. 

Shelby has previously been involved in HTGP’s development as an investor and advisor. Now, the collaboration deepens into a strategic board role, in which Shelby will specifically support the company’s AI development, technology-driven growth, and the building of business-oriented AI solutions.

Shelby is internationally recognized as a technology and AI expert, particularly for his long career in the development of technology, machine learning, embedded systems, and the Internet of Things. He has co-founded several internationally renowned technology companies and organizations, such as Sensinode (acquired by Arm in 2013), Edge Impulse (now part of Qualcomm), and the Micro:bit Foundation. 

Previously, Shelby served as VP at Arm and led wireless internet research at the University of Oulu’s Centre for Wireless Communications and at VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland. 

He currently serves as an advisor and investor to several growth companies. He has also previously served on the board of the tinyML Foundation.
