Raimo Jalonen brings strong commercial growth expertise to HTGP

Raimo Jalonen is a highly experienced commercial leader in the ICT sector, known for building systematic, structured and results-driven operating models across different industries. He has over 30 years of experience in leading commercial operations and organizations, mainly within ICT and professional services, both in Finland and in international markets.
Raimo is also an enthusiastic adopter of new technologies. As a leader, he has implemented CRM systems from various vendors in more than ten organizations. In addition, he has worked in a consulting firm specializing in CRM implementations and has been involved in leading over 150 CRM deployments for different companies. Already in 2017, Raimo wrote a blog post titled “Leading Sales with Artificial Intelligence.”
Throughout his career, Raimo has strongly emphasized the importance of customer understanding. He has therefore remained closely involved with customers himself – working directly with them to understand their business needs and changes in their operating environment, while ensuring that products and services deliver clear and measurable value.
Raimo has acted as an advisor and board member in several growth companies, helping them adopt effective operating models to develop strategy and commercial processes that support sustainable growth.
His mission is to bring globally proven commercial best practices to Finnish companies, enabling them to succeed not only in domestic markets but also in highly competitive international environments. The lack of education in strategic sales leadership at Finnish universities has, in his view, placed many companies at a disadvantage. Raimo has actively worked to close this gap by studying international best practices and learning from leading universities and global consulting firms. His particular strength lies in adapting proven models to each company’s specific market and business context.
Raimo’s core areas of expertise include strategic sales leadership, growth strategy design and execution, content marketing, modern CRM platforms, and international expansion.
From 2017 to 2021, Raimo served as Chief Commercial Officer at Biit Oy, during which time the company grew rapidly into Finland’s leading Salesforce CRM partner and later became part of the Twoday Group. Prior to this, he worked as Regional Sales Director at Telia, Global Head of Sales for Network Technologies at Elektrobit, and Head of Partner Sales at Oracle. He has also held CEO and Sales Director roles in startup companies. For the past four years, Raimo has worked through his own company as an advisor and consultant.
